HOW TO VOTE!
Can you VOTE? How to REGISTER?
You have the right to vote in Indiana if:
•You are both a U.S. citizen and a resident of Indiana; and
•You will be at least 18 years of age on or before November 8th
•You are not currently in prison after being convicted of a crime; and
•You have lived in the precinct where you vote for at least 30 days prior to the election; and
•You are registered to vote.
HOW DO YOU REGISTER?
You can register to vote online, in person, or by mail.
To register online, visit the state's Online Voter Registration page. Be prepared to:
•Verify your voter eligibility.
•Provide information such as your Indiana driver's license or state identification card number.
•Verify all information you've entered and confirmed the application.
To register in person or by mail:
•Complete the Indiana Voter Registration Application (Form VRG-7) or County Voter Registration Application (Form VRG-11)
•Deliver or mail it to your county voter registration office or the Indiana Election Division.
•Contact information and addresses are listed on the application.
Alternatively, you can apply through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Simply visit your local BMV license branch to register. Once received, your county's voter registration office will review your registration application and determine whether you're eligible. If you are, you'll receive your voter registration acknowledgment card by mail. If you don't receive your card within 30 days, contact the county voter registration office.
